Warm hospitality and delightful breakfasts

From the moment we arrived, Tina’s warm welcome made us feel right at home. The room was tastefully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of fresh and tasty options available. Pre-ordering was efficient, and the freshly made dishes really set us up for each day of our stay. An extra touch was the generous supply of tea and milk in our room, which kept us cozy during our evenings.

The only downside was the distance to the beach and town, which was about a 20-minute walk. While this wasn't a major issue for us, those who prefer closer access to attractions may want to factor this into their plans.

The sitting area downstairs was inviting and perfect for relaxing with a book. parking could be tricky at times since spots were limited, but there was always a permit available when needed. Some road noise was noticeable in the front rooms, which might disrupt light sleepers. Still, these issues didn’t overshadow the overall experience. I would definitely return for the friendly atmosphere and great hospitality.

My stay was a lovely experience, especially since I was visiting nearby attractions like Peasholm Park and Scarborough Castle. The room was immaculate and spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I really appreciated the delicious breakfast options prepared fresh each morning, which set me up for the day ahead. Finally, the host's warm hospitality made the visit even more enjoyable.

A very friendly lady owner helped me when I was under the weather. Perfect location for my needs, just a short stroll to the beach. My room was clean and cozy, just what I wanted.

If I say I missed my own bed, do I get a discount? Just kidding, but it did remind me of my Royal chambers!

I stayed with a group of friends for two nights and had an absolute blast! The clean room was perfect for our getaway, and we loved the location. It was a short trip to the beach with all the attractions, including donkeys and amusement arcades nearby. Tina's friendly service and delicious breakfast made our mornings even better.

One small downside was the tight space in the bedroom, which made it a bit cramped for the four of us.

powys lodge was a terrific stay just a short walk from the town and harbour. our twin room with shower was immaculate and well designed. breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection thanks to tina. such an organized host and a lovely place to relax.

Free parking and Wi-Fi were great, but no pets allowed was a downside.
